The building is conceived entirely as a steel structure anchored by foundation piles. The building, with a height of 45 m, has to carry enormous loads because of the installation. This is because of the silos at the top, with a total weight of 1380 tons, and because of the counter sets at the bottom, with a total weight of 1840 tons. Since the mobile weighers have to be calibrated regularly, specific minimum deflections and deviations apply to these floors.
